Horses and prices subject to change
Vorros from Pegasus Ranch: 8yr old. green mare, red/white pinto. Great temperament, with a very nice easy tolt. She has been on trail rides and gone sorting, ready to ride. She digs when tied, so that would have to be dealt with. $6,500.00
Gola: 25 year old dark bay mare, well trained, unflappable, all 5 gaits clear and easy. Special needs: her back fell this past winter so she requires shimming for whatever saddle would be used on her. Her teeth should be checked to see if she can transition from senior feed to hay. She needs conditioning, to be muscled up. She can be a good teacher. Gola is free to good home (one that is willing and capable to meet these needs).
Lina: 10 year old mare, still a little green, in that she hasn't seen and done everything. She's very stable, very large (14+ hands), red/white pinto, nice easy tolt. She moves well, with a slight tendency to be lazy. $6,500.00
Yrpa: 15 year old red bay mare. She's a small, fast 5 gaited mare, not for a beginner! I rode this mare on the John Wayne trail 6 years ago and she adapted well to large crowds, wagons, flags etc. She traveled with the fast-gaited horses in whatever gait asked for. May be sold... $5000.00
Sitha: 10 year old large black/white pinto mare, still a little green. She is not a confident horse and will require a rider who can deal with her insecurity. She finds more obstacles on the trail than any other horse I have ridden and will need a rider will invest the time it takes to establish trust. This is a mare who shoudl go to someone into a long term commitment. Sitha is from Iceland and I got her from Ellen Hanson when she decided she could not sell her as a beginners horse. $5,000.00
Snarpur: 6 year old dark grey gelding, green and ready to go. He's small until you get on him. His tolt is great though he will mix it up with trot sometimes. This boy has alot of spirit and is very responsive and controllable. In my opinion, he is not for a biginning rider, he's perfect for someone who has horse experience and is looking for gait. $5,000.00
Logi: 7 year old red/white pinto gelding, well started and ready to go. Good size and temperament. Tolt is not fast which works great on the trail. He strides out nicely at a walk as well. This is the horse I rode on my first trail ride after my injury. He's been camping and ties to trailers, as well as highlines. $6,000.00
